Trade Measurement

We administer and enforce New Zealand’s system of trade measurement, making sure that weighing and measuring equipment — and the quantity in packaged goods — are accurate.

Fuel Quality Monitoring

We maintain and administer the Fuel Quality Monitoring Programme. This programme monitors the quality of automotive and marine fuel in New Zealand and makes sure it complies with the Regulations.
